Mango Macadamia
Caramel Rolls
11/4 cups brown sugar
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1/2 cup softened butter, divided
1 large, ripe mango, peeled, pitted and chopped
1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts
1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
Stir together brown sugar, cinnamon and allspice in a small bowl. Place 1 cup mixture in a medium saucepan with 6 tablespoons butter. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
Stir in mango and cook for a few minutes more until brown sugar is dissolved. Spread in the bottom of a 13 X 9-inch baking pan and sprinkle with nuts; set aside. Roll thawed dough into a 12 X 12-inch square on a lightly floured board and spread with remaining 2 tablespoons butter.
Spread remaining brown sugar mixture over butter and press into dough. Roll up tightly and pinch seams to seal. Cut dough into 1-inch slices. Place in prepared baking dish; cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
Bake in preheated 350F oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes, then invert onto a serving platter. Makes 12 rolls.
Make ahead tip: Cover uncooked rolls and place in the refrigerator overnight. Let stand at room temperature for 1 hour before baking.

it doesn’t scratch the cooktop at all?

View CommentYeah but as long as you’re not cooking with temperatures at 500F or more
View Commentyou’re basically fine. This is why many suggest only having nonstick pans
for cooking eggs as you don’t really use high heat for eggs. And people
have pet birds in their household, move them far away from the kitchen when
you’re cooking with them. It’s common sense. Don’t blame the cookware,
blame yourself. Fumes from hot oils and when grilling food isn’t all that
great either.
Top notch set of cookware,
Mom can’t say enough good things about the quality of this cookware. She called me on the day she got them and twice in 2 days since cooking with them. She and I agree that the ceramic coating heats up quicker and more evenly than the teflon non coating and her pot roast in the Dutch oven was done to perfection. She rushed out and bought all new cooking utensils just to make sure there was no chance of scratching these. Mom and I agree: Top notch set of cookware!

GREAT CERAMIC pots & pans!,
Pros
– They are non stick and Ceramic for safer cooking
– They clean up easily
– They are sturdy steel pots/pans with sturdy glass lids that have a steam hole built in
– No funny smell while cooking
– Food tastes great
Cons
– you cannot use silverware or metal utensils with these as it will ruin the ceramic finish, but you can also not use those with any teflon products either. You can use wood or the hard plastic utensils when cooking with this set.
– You cannot place them in the oven (because of the handles) nor the microwave (because of the steel).
**HINT/Word of advice for caring for this set…
I place old dish clothes in between the pots/pans when I stack them in my cupboard so the bottoms of the pots/pans do not scratch the ceramic finish inside.
I also do NOT put these in the dishwasher, this is my preference so they will last longer.
***AS for the recommended for low/medium heat I have boiled water in these several times and it’s not ruined/damaged the pots. I have also fried eggs on these and had no problems. I boil noodles on med-high and start the water on high to get the water to boil, and they work just fine. (I say this because someone wrote a review that they are not for anything over low/medium).
