Steamer Insert for Healthy Cooking

This pot comes with a large steamer insert that can be used to prepare moist, flavorful dishes without the need for cooking oil. Steam from boiling water in the pot rises through the holes in the insert, thoroughly cooking food while retaining nutrients. Use the steamer to prepare a wide range of foods, including fresh vegetables, seafood, and dumplings.

Stainless Steel Construction for Durability

Made with heavy-gauge stainless steel, this steamer pot is built for long-term use. The large, sturdy loop handles make it easy to lift and carry around your kitchen, while the polished stainless finish looks elegant and complements other All-Clad cookware. The included lid and insert are also made with stainless steel, and all three components are safe to put in your dishwasher.

Cooking with Stainless Steel Cookware

Oven- and broiler-safe All-Clad stainless steel cookware is designed to distribute heat quickly and evenly, preventing hot spots and sticking. Preheat your cooktop on low to moderate heat–high heat should only be used for boiling.

About All-Clad

After years of perfecting the bonding process, company founder John Ulam established All-Clad Metalcrafters in 1971 and began producing professional-quality bonded cookware for working chefs and avid home cooks. The brand flourished as early adopters discovered the cookware’s extraordinary properties and exemplary cooking performance. Today, All-Clad cookware is still handcrafted in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, with American-made steel–the same way it was four decades ago. It is widely sought after by the world’s top chefs and passionate home cooks.

That’s as far as I got. That’s when I noticed the “stainless steel” um… finish?… was coming off on the bottom, and, I saw dark brown rust. Well, they tell you not to scrub it with anything (which is absolutely INSANE), so I was trying to rub it off with a sponge. No dice. So, I…

  2. Great Steamer – Worth the Price I read several other reviews of this product before ordering. We have two other All Clad products, a huge pan and small 1.5 quart sauce pot both of which were made in the U.S.A. I was a disappointment to find out that this steamer is made in China. This is a solid steamer. It is strong and substantial with the kind of handles found on other All-Clad products. Is the bottom as heavy and fancy as the bottom of a top of the line All-Clad pot that is made in the U.S.A and costs twice as much…
