  1. Not as described I love cast iron, know that it’s heavy to use, but the flavor it gives your food is just amazing. I ordered this pan since it said that it was 4.5″ deep and since it is 12″ in diameter, the normal size of a chicken fryer, I thought I was in for a treat. Instead, upon its arrival, found that it was only 2″ deep and completely unsuitable for anything that required depth in the pan whatsoever, particularly chicken. This pan is only for frying up something like eggs or pork chops. Forget those…
