Excellent skillet, but… It is way too heavy. If you’re a chef maybe, but as a regular homeowner-type cook, I think I goofed buying one as solid as this is. I was trying to get a pan that didn’t practically go sailing off the stove if you touched it, but this one is too far the other way, (not easily lifted from the burner with one hand). Other than that one complaint, it’s a beaut! The thickness of the bottom requires an extended pre-heat, but it pays off at the back end…I just shut it off a few minutes before…
