View CommentCrisp waffles but a few flaws I have owned this for about 2 years, and hands down, it makes a far better waffle than any other iron I have owned in years. However, some flaws become apparent after repeated use. The consumer should be aware of these. I will present the negatives first.There is no oil catcher. View CommentWorth the Extra $$ In the last 5 years I have gone though three waffle makers. None of them came even close to the quality of this waffle maker. Most recently, I had a Cuisinart model and after a year everything started to stick to it no matter what I did. This one cooks evenly, makes a nice crispy, chewy waffle, and has a wide range of setting so you can be more accurate with the level of doneness you like.
