Very disappointed I purchased this swing mandolin for my husband based on the favorable reviews, but I was very disappointed. Our goal was to make waffle sweet potato slices to bake. The first time we used it, one of the pins that hold the food fell out. The blade seemed too dull to cut the potatoe. Sometimes we would have to make several attempts to get one slice, then we would get very thick slices followed by slices that crumbled apart.
