While I was researching cookware sets, The Calphalon Commercial Cookware Set popped onto my radar, and I realized immediately that this was too good to pass up. This cookware set had a great price and it was hard to believe how many features that it had. Since I bought this set of pots and pans, I have used it practically every day. Because of the size of my family, I, as the main cook, needed a cookware set that I could clean up without investing a lot of time and I wanted something that was easy to use. My needs were fulfilled by this quality cookware set.
The Calphalon Commercial 9 Piece Hard Anodized Cookware Set came with a 2-1/2 quart covered shallow saucepan, 8-, 10-, and 12- inch open skillets, along with 3- and 7- quart covered chef’s casseroles. It is made of heavy-gauge, hard anodized aluminum construction that makes short work of clean-up and produces an even, fast surface for heating and cooking. It’s easy to work in a hurry with the riveted stainless-steel handles that stay comfortably cool when cooking on the stove and are comfortable for lifting. The casserole lids are domed so that moisture returns to the pot and keeps your food moist while it cooks. All the pots are also safe for use in the oven.
This Calphalon cookware set has just what you need for all of your cooking needs. It is best if you wash them by hand but it is tough enough to use metal utensils with and put in the broiler. If you aren’t familiar with the Calphalon name, it is a leading brand of cookware. This set has a charcoal gray matte finish that looks sophisticated while giving you a professional performance. You can use them to sear meat over medium heat and it cooks evenly without the worry of it eventually peeling like other non-stick interiors can.
When I purchased the Calphalon cookware set, I actually got more than what I paid for. I was really surprised at how well the finish has held up even though I use my regular metal utensils to cook with. I also reduced the amount of oil I need to use in my food when cooking since the non-stick interior keeps foods from sticking without it. This cookware set has provided me with the professional tools I need to meet the heavy demand I have for cooking without the high price attached to most professional cookware!
In my opinion, this Calphalon Commercial Cookware Set is wonderful. It has far exceeded my dreams and demands. There is some adjustment required of using this cookware set, however, with a little patience you will work through it. If your pans look a little less shiny, just use a scotch-brite pad (according to the users manual) and their beauty will be restored. One bit of caution is that even though the handles remain cool to the touch, the lids are made of metal that conducts heat and you will need to use a hot pad when handling them. This is a great, professional looking cookware set that anyone would be proud to own.
