Heavy-duty and well-made nonstick pan,
As mentioned, there is some heft in this pan so it should resist warping, but it’s not too heavy that it is hard to hold with one hand. The build quality is excellent, as one would expect from a Le Creuset pan; a good example of this is how the handle is fastened solidly to the pan so that there isn’t any play. I don’t own the larger version of this pan, but I can see the weight perhaps being a potential problem on the wrist.
The nonstick surface is truly nonstick, and you don’t have to add much oil for cooking. I do so anyway to enhance the flavor of food, but those who are limiting their fat intake will enjoy this pan.
I haven’t tried this in the oven and I’ve only owned it for a couple of months so I can’t attest to the durability yet. I’ll post an update if anything changes, but for now I’m very happy with this pan and may get the 12″ version.
